The action of hitting the Bingo button (aka, calling "bingo!") has been tested over 10,000,000 times. We believe this to be essentially 'bug free', however there are a few cases that can lead to the impression the game is mistaken. We have found its usually one of the following:
1) Player mistakenly hit a number that wasn't actually called. Remember, we have the Flashboard that keeps a perfect record of every ball that has ACTUALLY been called. We usually ask users who report this 'problem' to send us screenshots to help verify no user error. You can do the same investigation if you feel the game is in error.
2) Player is on a Blackout level. These are special levels that require you to cover the ENTIRE card. Simply having 5 in a row (as on all other levels) will result in a BAD CALL.
3) Player mistakes a chip-stack 'Booster' for a daub, and clicks Bingo. We have carefully made the Boosters very light pink, but they are slightly similiar to the red circle daub and have been mistaken by some people. Look carefully.
If you are SURE none of these are the actual case, please send email to contact@asylumlabsinc.com with your Friend Code (and ideally a screenshot / photo of the bad call). We'll be happy to investigate and reimburse if warranted.
I'm a relatively new player - friend code 313821 -
Firstly I wanted to say that this is the best bingo game I have ever played - I've tried them all on Facebook - and I'm absolutely addicted. Well done, thank you for making such an amazing game, and please keep up the good work!
I wasn't sure where to post my questions, I hope you don't mind me posting them here.
I'm confused re: team mates. Every time I log in, the same faces / avatars, are always there. So am I right in thinking that these aren't breathing, living humans, but bots? Because it makes it rather hard to get a bot to accept a gift, especially of I'm trying to complete an achievement... and you can't strike up a conversation! So doesn't that make the building up a team a bit pointless?
Also, how do I get my own avatar? Is this a feature you'll be working on, or is it there already and I've missed it?
The one thing that does upset me about the game, is the disruptor feature. How can you build up a team and yet allow one or more to disrupt someone's game? It seems cruel and pointless. I''ve been a bit annoyed when I have clicked for a bingo in good time, yet still get "Too late"... of when I have clicked on a number and then I see "Bad call" when I''ve literally just started playing! But please will you consider removing the disruptor feature. I have read a lot of comments here and many players just don't like it.. It's the major thing that would stop me playing WPB. It has cost me games, and frankly, I don't like it one bit.
Sorry for such a long message from a first timer, I promise any future messages will be shorter!
Thanks again for a wonderful game, you seem to be the kind of folk who actually listen to your players, so I look forward to talking to you again.
Best wishes, Allie

Hi Allie, thank you for your kind words. We hear a lot of negativity on here (the nature of support forums) so your positive remarks are very meaningful and i shared them with the team.
Lets see if i can address each of your questions:
"bots"- The game only works if you have 4 teams of 5 people playing. During peak hours sometimes this happens, but as we are a new game and still growing, we need to 'fill' the empty slots with 'bots'. Those are the faces you see often. They are programmed to play the game, but most expeirenced WPB players will tell you they can beat the bots regularly. They do not act exactly like real humans. Look for profiles that are new and you can be sure those are real people to engage with. Everyone on the Leaderboards is real, for example.
Your 'avatar' is based on how you log in. I assume you login with Facebook? Then it takes your facebook profile picture; this is currently unchangable (unless you update your FB pic). If you log in with Asylum Labs account (first time you run the game you get the choice), you MAY then pick an avatar from a list. We hope to improve this functionality to allow you to pick new picture even if your FB connected, for example.
Disruptors - While its true this is the least popular powerup, it does have a purpose. If someone wants to play the game competitively (ie, ensure their team is 1st place), then using it on another team-member is a valid move. We get that its "mean", but so is taking a pawn in chess, right? All the other powerups are "helpful" and Disruptor is not so it gets a bad rap. Having said all that, we are considering replacing it, and even asking the community what we should replace it WITH. Stay tuned. (btw: here's a secret tip. If someone disrupts you, play a Break Time (aka Coffee Break), and it will 'cancel out' the disruptor. You will be immune essentially.
Hope this helps, we ARE committed to improving the game and posts like yours are invaluable for us to understand where we should take the product.
Thank you very much for getting back to me so quickly - considering that you are a new game on the block and will have hundreds of players already, I'm really happy you were able to read my message and listen to what I had to say.
I feel like a right twit, sending gifts to the bots (can you see my face getting redder by the minute?) I can tell you now, my hubby (who teaches IT, and everything to do with computers, including building them) and my kids. are going to have a field day when I tell them I have been feeding cake to bots. They will never let me hear the end of it!
Yes I did log in with Facebook, I found the game there, and I really can't remember if I was offered the chance to make an avatar at the time, I probably was, but I was in too much of a hurry to play bingo. I should have paid more attention. I do hope you can offer this feature in the future, because I will be in the front of the queue to change my face!
Thank you for telling me about the Coffee Break feature re: disruptors. I'll be using that in future.
Everything you have said has been really helpful, it's going to make game playing more enjoyable, and don't tell my hubby, but some of my housekeeping is being spent on your game, so shush and keep schtum. By the way, is there any chance that you could expand on the number of "helpers" eg the daubs - instead of 3 per 5 crystals, why can't it be the same as 10 for 5 crystals as you have it with the Helper feature? I think that more people would be willing to spend real money on the game, if they felt the crystals they were buying, were better value for money, and expanded their spending power. It's just an idea - these days, people do want good value for money, and they want to see it going further.
Thank you again for such a fantastic game, and thank you for being so kind and for listening to me and the other players. I don't know about them, but I certainly appreciate you for your time and hard work. Plus, you'e nice - and that helps a lot. Being kind and friendly goes a long way.

Allie,
Thank you for your thoughtful input. Clearly you have played the game enough to have a number of good ideas and insights and thats exactly what we created this community for! Your feedback is extremely valuable and I feel like we are well on our way to creating a respectful, engaged community of like-minded folks who love to Bingo! In specific response:
- dont feel bad you were buying robots gifts! Robots are people too! (uh, well sorta). Actually, we created them not to 'trick' people but to ensure the rooms are full and lively and many people interact with them assuming they are real people.
- Re: prices of powerups, we are always tweaking this and your feedback is important. Of course users always want stuff 'cheaper' but we understand its a balancing act and strive to give you the most value possible. I'll take your request to the team and we will investigate.
great game thank you ---- why am I not able to pay back disruptor last attacker does not show in list do I have to pay back in same game or can I pay back later
djbb: Last attacker is only good for each round. The last attacker is reset each round, so get your revenge quickly! Also, if you know who they are, you can try to "Friend" them, and then get them later :)
Hello to everyone. I'm a newbie and loving this game!! Two things: I missed my one opportunity to change my avatar. Please...is there a way I can change it? I just don't want to be a monkey. Hehehe Also, how do you chat with people when they friend you? Wanted to say hi and couldn't see how to do that. Thank you for answering my questions and for creating a really fun game. Mary
